The Archeological Gallery is located underneath Istana Kota Beram on the left hand side. It exhibits the history of archeology in Pahang, which starts from prehistoric times (Mesolithic/Hoabin, Neolithic and the Metal Age) and also includes protohistoric times. Artifacts discovered during the proto-historic age, like the ceramics of Pulau Tioman and from the Royal Nan Hai Shipwreck, the bronze sculptures, the Penarikan Route (an important trans-peninsular waterway link), the arrival of Islam and the history of the royal town of Pekan are exhibited here. Artifacts from the Metal Age like skeletal fragments and a fragment piece of the Dongson Drum are also on exhibit.
